For processes where cooling and heating of process devices is required, Brinox has developed a closed system of technological tempering.

The heat transfer medium is usually water or a suitable glycol mixture.

Buffer containers are used for storing a certain amount of appropriately tempered water or glycol mixture, separately for cooling and heating.

When a cooling function is required on the process vessel, all hot water is pushed out from the jacket of the process device to the buffer container and the cooling function thus starts. The process also runs in the opposite direction.
