Food and beverage

Our approach focuses on project integration and is adapted to the client’s needs.

Process vessels

We provide equipment for storing raw or pasteurised milk.

The process vessels are built:

  • with or without stirrers,
  • with a tempering double sleeve,
  • with sensors and other connections,
  • from various materials (stainless steel, hastelloy, incoloy, etc.),
  • with SIP / CIP / DIP,
  • with different stages of automation,
  • connected to an automated valve manifold,
  • a high level of hygiene and work safety is guaranteed,
  • the parameters are monitored and archived.
Milk pasteurisation

Milk pasteurisation skids may be a standard type or designed following the client’s requirements and wishes.

Brinox pasteurisers:

  • meet the requirements of food industry standards,
  • have a fully automated process,
  • have an automation and connection level designed following the client’s wish,
  • archive critical parameters in line with regulations,
  • have flexible connection methods for pipelines and communication connections with other systems in the dairy (raw and pasteurised milk storage, CIP station),
  • allow integration and delivery of additional units: separator, bactofuge, homogeniser, deaerator, microfiltration.

Our own expert team provides support for startup and maintenance.

Membrane process skids

We provide membrane filtration skids for a variety or products with different types and builds of membranes.

Characteristics of Brinox membrane filtration:

  • filtration types: MF, UF, NF, RO,
  • ceramic or "spiral wound" membranes, etc.,
  • pilot skids for development of new products.

The membrane filtration procedures are combined with other procedures. They can be fully or partly automated.

We have rich experience in the filtration of milk and dairy, whey, cheese production, pectin concentration, sugar concentration, product cleaning, enzyme concentration, juice concentration, etc.

Fruit paste dosing skids

We build dosing skids for fruit pastes, vitamins, and starter cultures.

The dosing skids allow:

  • measurement and control of the flow of both components,
  • operation following recipes,
  • a high hygiene level of construction that includes the sterilisation of flexible connections,
  • control over addition,
  • communication connections to systems before and after the unit,
  • cleaning using CIP procedures,
  • process automation depending on the automation level on the facility.

Example of good practice - kefir production

Brinox embraced the challenge and designed and erected the largest kefir production line worldwide, utilising the three-stage fermentation method which permits production of kefir on a larger scale.

Specific Brinox internal strict standards for cleaning and sterilisation of media and air manipulation allow that production can easily be doubled or even tripled when using the same line also for yoghurt.
